Santa Barbara Adventure Co. is Live!

sbac-main

We are pleased to announce the launch of the completely redesigned Santa Barbara Adventure Company website. SBAC owners Suzanne & Michael Cohen are long time friends of May’s Founder, Garth Humbert and it was great to be working with them again.

Fresh out of college (UCSB), Suzanne and Garth launched Print Lab Design Bureau in 1998. When Suzanne married Michael and got involved in SBAC’s daily operations, she hired Garth to launch the company’s original website. Needless to say, that was awhile ago, and SBAC approached May last fall to help revamp their online presence – complete with full force social media integration, beautiful design, and full control Wordpress content management.

Here’s some before & after screenshots to show the evolution.

We look forward to many more years of working together and can not wait to celebrate our one year anniversary of May this summer with a team building adventure outing courtesy of SBAC! It’s gonna be epic!

ThisWeekIn

ThisWeekIn New Website

We’re really proud to unveil the brand new ThisWeekIn website – quite possibly our most complex WordPress-powered experience yet. We’re launching just in time for the highly anticipated live TWiST event in SXSW on Saturday March 13th in Austin, TX.

ThisWeekIn, Inc. offers a network of video podcasts covering a wide variety of topics from tech to entertainment to social media. Their network of shows includes — ThisWeekIn: Startups; ThisWeekIn: YouTube; ThisWeekIn: Books; ThisWeekIn: Cloud Computing; ThisWeekIn: Twitter; ThisWeekIn: Android; and Kevin Pollak’s Chat Show. They feature guest experts, founders, movie stars, comedians, technologists and CEO’s — all keeping you up to speed on what’s happening this week with a fast and funny style.

What made this site so technically challenging was that it was a combination of seven unique websites (soon to be eight) needing to be fully integrated under one easy to manage CMS. The new site really simplifies and consolidates the ThisWeekIn brand, giving fans quick and easy access to news, updates, and episodes on all 7 shows.

After seeing the final result, Jason Calacanis, Co-Founder of ThisWeekIn, Inc, simply stated, “Wow!”

Huge props to the May team for all the hard work and especially to our jedi code master Matt Simo, who continues to amaze and inspire us with his WordPress finesse, while pushing the envelope with the platform’s capabilities.
